We pride ourselves on our guests' satisfaction...

“We found the house, a converted old wine making building, very spacious and beautifully decorated, mixing modern with traditional French furniture. Very comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms ensured comfort wasn't an issue. Set right amongst some of finest vineyards, it is treat for wine lovers (and stunning countryside views if you happen to be teetotal). The owners were very helpful and informative before and during our stay, suggesting some lovely places to visit. Highlights for us were a local wineshop, where we educated (in a pleasant way) of the different methods and terrains of this wine making region, and eating local specialties in the restaurants in the nearby town of Beaune”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at Clos de Verger in Pommard. The house was lovely, well decorated and beautifully furnished. We really loved using the huge well equipped kitchen! The bedrooms were stylish and we liked the period stonework features. The view from the deck was really great and exactly as shown in the photos, and a lovely place to take the sun!
As we were staying here for the local wine, the location of this house was key for us and we weren't disappointed by the immediate proximity in Pommard of a multitude of vintners’ premises (literally on every street!), as well as the major wine production town of Beaune being only a 5 minutes’ drive by car.
We will certainly return to this house in future..”

“Lovely restored old vignerons house in the middle of Pommard. Huge rooms, fabulous fully equipped modern kitchen with the works. Luxury feel, top quality furnishings, modern bathrooms with antique look, a very comfortable "wow" house. Separate upstairs deck with gorgeous views over the surrounding vineyards. So close to Beaune and many other beautiful villages. A must see destination for all wine lovers. Great communication and lots of helpful information from the owner. Loved our stay here.”

“From the moment you step into this wonderful property you cannot stop being amazed at the care and attention to detail that has been lavished throughout. Big but at the same time cosy rooms. Comfortable beds in the 2 rooms we had booked (however we had been told that the other rooms could be made available). The kitchen was equipped to the highest standard with more than enough of everything. A truly wonderful holiday and highly recommended”

“When travelling through Pommard, we knew we would love it. Charming setting, local restaurants, chocolatier and wineries at every corner. What a treat! The house is tucked away from the main street up its own private driveway. The wonderful pictures sold the property to us, but when we arrived, it was even better than we expected: beautifully decorated and luxurious, but with a homely and warm feel. We found the open plan kitchen area to be the star of the show – perfect for our New Year dinner party. We stayed in the ‘pink’ room with a stunning tiled floor and gorgeously comfy bed!
We were the newbies to the wine scene and thoroughly enjoyed sampling and learning from the local experts about their fabulous wines. A day out in nearby Beaune was a hit and there are lovely walks in the local area. As a keen cyclist, I would love to go back with my bike. A delightful setting and fabulous house, added to amazing wine, cheese and chocolate, made for a very happy New Year indeed! We will be back.”

"Andrew 's recently renovated family holiday home was a great find. It was evident from the outset that the place is enjoyed by the owners themselves given the level of equipment and the extensive level of local insight imparted in their encyclopaedic visitors' manual.

Arrival was easy with the self-access option. We didn't get to meet the property manager but could reach them easily by phone.

The kitchen is the heart of the house, cool and shaded and a nice escape when the sun is strong. A long dining table seats 10 comfortably and the drawers and cupboards of the recently fitted modern units contained plenty of new cutlery, crockery, glasses, pans and cooking implements. There was a full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher and range style stove. We cooked regularly in the house and found pretty much everything you would find in your own home.

The lounge and snug were the former wine store and - despite the hot weather - a tad too cool without the heating on. But there were plenty of rads if we had needed.

The terrace was accessed by a wooden staircase from the gravelled yard, very safe for children given the high wall bordering, but with a gorgeous view beyond to the vineyards which started at the foot of the wall of the property.

The bedrooms and bathrooms retained many of the original features including original tiled and wooden floors in some, so full of character... and a very good size. They were beautifully accessorised; everything brand new; bed linens were immaculate; and the bed we slept in was extraordinarily comfortable.

The location was at the extremity of the town off a narrow residential street and backing directly onto vineyards. Access was through a tight alleyway but taken carefully could comfortably take any size car. The yard would accommodate more cars than you would ever need it to. Neighbours were a tad inconsiderate leaving cars overhanging the alley entrance, but to be fair we didn't approach them to move and could edge past with care.

There's more to the house and Andrew 's description is very accurate.

The town was full of 'Caves' offering 'Degustation', a few eateries, butcher and baker. Good choice of supermarkets in Beaune just a few minutes drive down the road.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again. Andrew  has pretty much thought of everything and if we couldn't find something, he was extremely responsive."
